Below are some frequently asked questions about Metal Building Parts & Sales. Hopefully, these will address any question that you may have, but if your question isn’t solved below, please contact us.
How fast can you deliver material to our jobsite?
Some parts can be delivered the same week you order.
Do you sell metal buildings and parts in other states?
Yes, our main office is in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and we sell parts all over the United States.
Can I order this part direct from manufacturer?
Many manufacturers do not sell direct. With our large catalog of parts, we can match an existing design or find a unique component. We have established discount rates with many manufacturers and continually search for the best prices on a wide variety of materials to save you time and money.
How can I match an existing design?
Many owners provide us with the manufacturer specifications on the original drawings, but if you do not have these details send us pictures and descriptions of the existing building or part needed and we will research manufacturers for the exact match
Do you sell complete packages for metal buildings?
Yes, we have many cost saving ideas to save you money on a complete metal building.
Do you work with government contracts?
Yes, Government contracts often involve special requirements and we have worked on many government projects.
Why start with you in the design phase of a metal building project?
By allowing us to work with engineers & architects in the design phase, our specialized knowledge of metal buildings can save time and money in the ordering process and on the job site.
Do you provide labor to install the parts?
We have specialized subcontractors to install the parts in some locations.
Do you Field measure (measure exact parts needed for repairs)?
Depending on your location and the repair, we can come to your site and measure for the material needed or we can prepare quotes by pictures and your measurements. Samples are also available upon request.
Can I add on to the end of my current metal building without additional support frames?
To meet the current building codes, we will need to check original drawings with manufacturer specifications or do a field inspection to see if additional support frames would be needed.
Why should we have an inspection on our metal building?
An inspection can find leaks and small repair issues preventing major damage. An inspection on a newly erected building will provide a list of repairs needed before final payment is made to the erector.
Why add Low E reflective insulation over fiberglass insulation?
Low E Reflective Insulation over fiberglass insulation can meet the new energy codes and save money in the total order costs and on the labor to install.
Why is there such variation in the prices of Reflective Insulation?
Not all reflective insulation is the same. Be careful that the Reflective insulation you choose will meet the new energy codes. Many of the lower priced reflective insulations do not include a tested system with high R factors and class A fire ratings.
